The Maine State Park lifeguard group is looking for certified people with marine experience (swimming, browsing) and a strong public safety aptitude (management, coaching, mentoring) who have their lifesaving, CPR and First Aid accreditations ** to join us this summer. Course Fee Reimbursement - If you pass a recognized lifeguard course and the Maine State Park Lifeguard Academy and work a complete season as a lifeguard with Maine State Parks, your lifeguard course charge will be repaid. Training Resources consist of the Red Cross, YMCA, UMaine, and local colleges and schools.

Park and historic site personnel deal exemplary visitor services while carrying out a wide variety of outdoor responsibilities. They supply info to visitors, ensure visitor security, perform park maintenance and repairs, and update welcome and info kiosks.
